Academic Year 2021-22) REGULATIONS: 20OMP 1.0 TITLE OF THE PROGRAMME The Programme shall be called Master of Planning, abbreviated as M. Plan. Programme. 20OMP 2.0 DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME 20OMP 2.1 Programme: The Programme shall extend for four semesters and each semester shall have the following schedule (excluding Examination, Professional training, and Vacation): 1stSemester: 16 weeks duration (26 Credits). 2ndSemester: 16 weeks duration (24 Credits). 3rdSemester: 16 weeks duration (28 Credits). 4thSemester: 16 weeks duration (22 Credits). The Course comprises a total of 100 credits which the candidate has to complete to be awarded the degree. 20OMP 2.2 The Calendar of events in respect of the Programme shall be notified at least a month before the commencement of the semester by the University. 20OMP 2.3 A candidate shall be allowed a maximum duration of 4 Years from the first semester of admission to become eligible for the award of Master’s Degree, failing which he/she may discontinue the program or register once again as a fresh candidate to I semester of the programme. However, this is subject to revisions under National Education Policy 2020, as and when implemented by VTU. 20OMP 3.0 ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION 20OMP 3.1 Admission to the Master of Planning, Programme shall be open to all the candidates who have passed B.
