Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited ------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------ Sub: Submission of Offer for Tender No… … ………..………………………………… Dear Sir, The Bidder acknowledges that Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has signed the MOU with Transparency International India for the adoption of the Integrity Pact Program and stands committed to following the principles thereof as enumerated in the Integrity Agreement enclosed with the tender document. The Bidder agrees that the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) is an invitation to offer made on the condition that the Bidder will sign the enclosed Integrity Agreement, which is an integral part of tender documents, failing which the tenderer will stand disqualified from the tendering process. The Bidder acknowledges that the Bid would be kept open in its original form without variation or modification for a period of _____ days (state the number of days from the last date for the receipt of tenders stated in the NIT) AND THE MAKING OF THE BID SHALL BE REGARDED AS AN UNCONDITIONAL AND ABSOLUTE ACCEPTANCE of this condition of the NIT. Bidder confirms acceptance and compliance with the Integrity Agreement in letter and spirit and further agrees that execution of the said Integrity Agreement shall be separate and distinct from the main contract, which will come into existence when bid is finally accepted by CPCL. The Bidder acknowledges and accepts the duration of the Integrity Agreement, which shall be in line with Article 8 of the enclosed Integrity Agreement.
